Intergalactic DJs presents DJ VANTA//SonicForge: a local-first Hermes-native AI DJ/VJ that plans sets, models real DJ transitions, writes text-first MC breaks, drives browser visuals, carries a rave survival kit, and keeps every live backend closed until a human arms it.

DJ VANTA
Virtual Autonomous Nocturnal Transmission Artist — the first autonomous DJ/VJ entity inside the SonicForge runtime. Read the lore/personality sheet.
Not just “AI makes a song.” A performer.
Most AI music demos stop at a generated asset. SonicForge Live demonstrates the job of a DJ/VJ: selection, timing, transition intent, talk breaks, visual cues, safety reminders, set memory, and clear operator approvals.
Open the deck, press Plan Next Continuous Segment, and DJ VANTA returns the next track sketch, MC line, visual spell, Deck A/B handoff, beatmatch plan, EQ moves, survival ping, culture cue, and honest program status.
What happens in the live demo
1. GuideOperator gives VANTA a party direction.
2. PlanPlanner builds Deck A/B handoff and transition metadata.
3. MockLocal WAV sketch + text MC cue, no paid provider.
4. VisualizeBrowser VJ renders visual spell/code-rain style cues.
5. VerifyHealth, safety, backend status, and manifest stay honest.
Beatmatch + phrase + EQ
The payload includes BPM compatibility, 16/32-bar phrase planning, bass swap, drop release, cue points, talk ducking, target LUFS, and an equal-power crossfader plan.
Deck A / Deck B
Inspired by live DJ rigs: Deck A carries the current groove; Deck B is the incoming portal with crate selection, prompt stack, visual spell, and dry-run ComfyUI cue.
Text shaders now, ComfyUI later
The browser VJ handles code rain, subtitle spells, EQ bands, and readable rave-terminal cues. ComfyUI becomes the opt-in visual/media workflow engine later.
Party care as a feature
Hydration, earplugs, buddy checks, consent reminders, chill zone, exits, and human override. Practical community-care copy only — no medical or drug-use instructions.
History is part of the system
DJ VANTA is built to respect the lineage: disco, house, techno, warehouse parties, VJ culture, sound systems, peer support, and local scenes. The AI is framed as a guest in the room, not the inventor of the room.

What VANTA must not do
- No drug dosing or ingestion instructions.
- No medical diagnosis or emergency replacement.
- No hidden microphone/crowd recording.
- No public stream or cloud GPU without approval.
- No pretending mock audio is a rendered continuous mix.

Build stronger code-rain, dual ASCII spectrograph, EQ band shrine, and readable text-spell overlays.
ComfyUI workflow
Turn the dry-run visual spell card into a real workflow JSON, but keep GPU/cloud off by default.
DJ/audio logic
Improve planner metadata, prompt crate selection, manifests, and eventually a real local rendered program mix.
